The first restaurant week concept originated in New York City in the early nineties and has since gained popularity throughout the nation. Restaurant Weeks give local food aficionados and visitors a great opportunity to discover and enjoy restaurants at a fixed price.

Q. How do I take part and dine out during a Restaurant Week?

A. There are no passes, tickets or coupons required. Instead, diners simply visit participating restaurants throughout the event to enjoy the special prix fixe menus. It is highly recommended that diners make reservations in advance as restaurants fill up quickly. To make a reservation, diners may contact restaurants directly or by the links on our website.

A. Restaurant Weeks take places throughout the year and sometimes twice a year. Find your state to see the schedule.

Q. When should I make my reservations?

A. Since these are highly anticipated events, it is best to make a reservation as soon as possible as restaurant weeks are among the most popular dining events across the country. Reservations can be made in one of two ways: through the restaurants’ OpenTable links  on our website or calling the participating restaurant directly. Confirming a reservation is always appreciated.

A. OpenTable ( is a major restaurant reservation website. Find a restaurant, make a reservation. It’s free and easy!

Q. How do I know what each restaurant is serving for their prix-fixe menu?

A. As the restaurants submit their menus to us, we’ll post them on the site for your convenience. Our lists of participating restaurants will continue to grow with daily additions so check back often to find out who is participating and what’s on their menu.

Q. Do the prices include taxes and tip?

A. Beverages, taxes, corkage fees and tips are not included. Please remember to tip well!

Q. Do you have to order off the special prix fixe during Restaurant Week?

A. No. Most of the participating restaurants will be offering their standard menus as well. Diners may order á la carte from the standard menu, but to enjoy the Restaurant Week pricing you must order from the special prix-fixe menu.

Q. Do all of the restaurants in a city/town/state participate?

A.  No, although,the restaurants are welcome to join in the celebration.

Q. Will the menus be different at each restaurant?

A. Yes. The idea of Restaurant Week is to preview all of the menus and figure out the restaurants that you would like to try.
